Striped Tee (old; similar long sleeve stripe tee for $10)| Skinny Jeans | Burberry Brit Dukesby Trench Coat c/o Clotheshorse Anonymous | Converse | Stud Earrings | Aviator Sunglasses (under $15!) | Nude Lipstick in Intense Nude (one of my favorite nude lipsticks under $30; creamy and isn’t drying!)
I really love this trench because it’s such a classic and so versatile even with a non-traditional trench color. It can work for the mild winter weather by layering it over some sweaters or topped over a silk dress draped over the shoulders on a sunny day. This spring, I plan on styling it again with some neutrals and experiment with other color combinations.
However, for now, I’m enjoying the cold weather, festive lights and fun events, making stovetop potpourri and just slowing down with loved ones before ramping up the new year!
Speaking of, I thought I had two weeks to get shopping/DIY gifts done, but alas, I have three days! I have the same amount of time it took Jesus to rise from the dead to pull everything off for my coworkers, which make up half of my gift list!
It’s okay though. This trench still makes me smile. Maybe if I wear it while putting my DIY gifts together, some Christmas magic will happen!
And if I do happen to pull this off, I’d love it if Santa could gift me this cashmere scarf in the classic check color for a job well done. That’d be one Burberry piece I’d ask Santa for working so hard on such thoughtful gifts, ha!
If you could have one Burberry piece, what would it be?
