Transformation Thursday: March 2017 | She Sweats Diamonds

Welcome to the third installment of Transformation Thursday! If you’re new here, Transformation Thursday series is a monthly edit of resources I share. You can listen to, read or watch what I’ve found/used to improve various parts of your life. It is my hope that at least one resource in each post adds value to your life!

Today’s self-improvement goodness is going to be quite the mix! Choose whichever format you prefer and let the transformation begin!

Article (1 Minute Read): The Fascinating History of Nail Polish by Devon Hopp of Byrdie – Okay, totally not an article for self-improvement, but if you love beauty products, especially nail art and getting pampered with manis, this is such an interesting article about the history of nail polish!

Book (Short-ish read): Loveability: Knowing How to Love and Be Loved by Robert Holden – It’s been a long journey learning to love myself. After reading this book, I knew I had to recommend it to one of my best friends. After she read it, thanked me and told me that she sees herself in a much more positive light. Now, that’s what I like to hear! Because it changed her perspective, I will be giving this book as gifts in the future.

I must say that Loveability is a book that everyone (especially women) should read to learn not only about love, but the importance of self-love and self-worth. Check out my short book review of it!

Video (Length 06:19): Dream – I know this may sound cheesy, but on days when I wake up in a crummy mood, I put this motivational video by Mateusz on while I drive to work. My outlook is positive and I look forward to my day because it boosts my mood.

If you find yourself uninspired or in a slump, watch this video. I promise you that it will motivate you to get up and get moving! In other words, it helps change your stinkin’ thinkin’ and as Tony Robbins says, your state.

Podcast (Length: 34:30) – I met Mara over on her blog, Market Beautifully just a few weeks ago. As I browsed around, I saw so much value-packed content. If you’re a blogger, marketer, business owner or all of the above, check out her work! She provides so much value including freebies! ::wink::

If you want to learn how to grow and make money on Instagram, check out her podcast episode, Creating and Monetizing Your Instagram Community! I accidentally found her while I was surfing Pinterest and I’m glad I came across her!

Product (planner): Passion Planner – I remember when I backed this product when it first came out on Kickstarter. It’s been so cool watching Angelia’s company grow. I ordered the large undated planner and loved the detail and thought she put into creating it. If you’re a pen/paper kind of person, you’ll be inspired to plan out your week!

Business owner or student, you will love this planner to keep you organized! If I didn’t have a planner already, I’d nab this compact blush planner!

That’s it for today! If you’ve read, watched, listened to or used any of these resources, comment below and let me know your thoughts!

Please feel free to suggest any resources you personally use! Happy Friday Eve!
