Happy February, loves!!! Ya’ll the first Transformation Thursday post of 2018 is here!!! Say whuttt?! Was it me or did January felt like it was crawling and went by fast at the same time?
Anyway, since I was sick for most of the month, this post will have fewer resources. However, I think they’re all very important, informative and some of the best resources you can read/listen to if you run a business online/on social media!
Let’s get to my finds for January!

Essential Tax Tips for Blogger– Chloe Digital
If you’ve ever DMed me at any point looking for advice, chances are that I would’ve told you to follow the Chloe Digital team because of the value they bring.
Seriously, they’re one of the best resources out there, especially for new bloggers. Their advice is sound and their support for others to succeed is amazing and so refreshing to see!
Considering I completed my first year of blogging, I know I have to file taxes for some claims. However, I’m not great at anything admin-related and taxes definitely falls in ghat category.
When I came across this article the CD girls put out, I suddenly feel way more confident that I’ll be just fine when I turn in my taxes this year!
Article – Instagram Updates (1 Minute Read)
Instagram now allows businesses to schedule their posts by Tech Crunch
I know. Everyone who does business on Instagram is talking about the algorithm changes.
But let’s switch gears and talk about Instagram from a non-algorithm perspective. For Instagram to allow business accounts to schedule their posts? I’m in! I even turned my personal account into a business account because I don’t want to miss anything they have to offer for that kind of an account.
Check it out and let me know your thoughts!

A Drink With James Episode 77: The 50k Threshold, Money vs. Exposure, Over Engagement – Fohr Card
I love James Nord and the Fohr Card team! They have been so valuable to me as a blogger. I thought I’d share this video because James touched on something very intriguing: fake engagement.
He shares his thoughts on things like comment pods and the difference between fellow bloggers commenting on your posts versus real people who could be your customers.
After hearing what he had to say, I knew I was put off my comment/like pods.
That’s all for this month’s Transformation Thursday series! Happy Friday Eve!
If you’ve used any of these resources, let me know what you think!
