It’s the little things such as experiencing precious moments in life that make it all the sweeter. However, material things, in moderation, can bring joy too.
I wanted to start a new mini series here on the blog sharing my favorite things (and moments) from the previous month as we begin a new month.
Think of it as a “here’s what I love and some sweet moments in between” kind of series where I share things I’ve come to love while reflecting on some memories I’ve made or experienced.
SUMMER FRIDAYS LIP BUTTER BALM IN CHERRY
A few days after I shot this photo, I lost this lip butter balm tube. I was so sad because it was my go-to lip product to pop on a little bit of color before video calls at my day job. I ended up ordering more to stash one in my handbag, gym bag, and office desk.
Then Lauren Ireland (whose blog article inspired me to begin this series) sent me a whole box of Summer Fridays goodies with some other lip butter balm scents that I cannot wait to try out this summer!
Pro-tip: Dab some of it on your cheeks when you’re on the go to freshen up your look!
CHRISTIAN DIOR LE BAUME MULTI-USE LOTION
While this hand lotion is pricey, it’s everything I want and need it to be!
The scent is very light while the formula does not leave my hands feeling greasy. My favorite thing about it is that it’s slim enough to fit into my crossbody bag with my wallet, cell phone, and key wallet! A major win in my book!
COTTON SHIRT
This oversized cotton shirt is everything spring and summer should be when it comes to your wardrobe.
It’s SO soft, made of 100% cotton, can be dressed up or down, or as a light layer on cooler nights. As you can see, this was perfect to wear for a day at the Dallas Arboretum!
I love it so much, I want to get a second one for when I’m a smaller size, it’s that good!
WHITE SNEAKERS
You know that feeling you get when you put on a new pair of shoes? APL always does that for me.
These white sneakers are breathable, sleek, and washable if you run or travel often. To me, aside from the Zipline style, this TechLoom style is SO comfortable for a sleeker sneaker! They’re like hugs on your feet!
TIMEX WATCH
As I’m sensitive to 5G, I’ve decided to use my Apple watch less and go back to the good old battery-operated watches.
Considering my old Regency watch broke (I was devastated), I had to turn to a brand I know and love. To me, Timex is a timeless (no pun intended) watch brand. After I found this black and gold watch, it was a no brainer to hit “Add to Cart” for me.
I still need to get some links taken off as my wrist is on the smaller side, but I cannot wait to start sporting it soon!
