Last fall, I shared this beaded cocktail top from Clotheshorse Anonymous with you. This Spring, I’m resharing this top because I’m a huge fan of restyling clothes I already own. You know, cost divided by times per wear? That.
For this look, I decided to go for a more dressed up look, but keeping my style a bit low-key. I reached for…gasp! A maxi skirt! If you know my style, I either lean towards dresses or pants. Actually, this is only maxi skirt I own now that I think about it. I hardly ever wear skirts anymore, but after shooting this look, I’m thinking of getting another maxi skirt or two for Spring.
Anyway, since my top is heavily beaded, I wanted to dress down my look with my favorite cheap sunglasses, my go-to crossbody bag and some fancy yet comfortable flip flop sandals. I kept my jewelry minimal because I wanted my top to stand out. What do you think of my outfit?
How do you feel about wearing a maxi skirt for Spring?
SHOP MY OUTFIT:
Yay or nay? I’m definitely not a fan of maxi dresses or skirts for summer because I sweat to death in them, but before the hot weather gets here, I figured I’d give maxi skirts a try. Let me know if you’re a maxi skirt fan or not in the comments below!
