Happy Tuesday, y’all! I can’t believe March is tomorrow! Speaking of, I think I’m ready for spring. I said think. I’m ready for some rain, peonies (so ready for them!) and layers, but I’m definitely NOT ready for mosquitoes. That’s why I said think, haha!
Anyway, for this week’s look, I wanted to share a fun look. With a spring color paired with a fun print, this look is definitely one I’ll re-wear in the spring, but with neutral booties. Sidenote: the weather cooled off in Dallas quite a bit this past weekend, hence the reason for tall boots in this post.
First of all, let’s talk about this stand out leopard infinity scarf! I wasn’t a fan of infinity scarves until I came across this one. This may sound weird, but if I’m going with a leopard print anything, the color has to be “accurate” and the print not be too little or gigantic. So when I came across this lightweight scarf during a spontaneous stop (thanks Sarah for being an enabler!) while shopping, I was smitten.
I love scarves and have more than I care to admit, but this one is definitely a closet favorite. Since I like the look of a scarf tying an outfit together, but hate when my neck gets all sweaty, this was a no-brainer purchase. You would not believe how much this leopard infinity scarf is! I nabbed it for a deal of, wait for it. $12.00! I know, right?!
Recognize my reversible tote? This is another color I own aside from the one in my previous outfit post. The bag still holds up well except for the handles and that’s only because I carried my life in it for about half a year before buying another tote to add into the rotation.
Lastly, I’m saying goodbye to these Colin Stuart boots along with another pair from Lucky Brand I’ve had for about seven years. Remember when Victoria’s Secret sold clothes and shoes? Yeah, these were from almost a decade ago. Can you believe it?
So, I have a confession. I have an addiction to outerwear especially jackets. However, not just any kind of jackets. Faux leather, motos and biker jackets are my jam. And you know what? Erica over at Fashioned Chic is not helping with my addiction. Check out this grey jacket and look at the details on this studded black jacket. I know. They’re super pricey, but I did find a bone-colored jacket for half price! I don’t see myself spending that much yet so this grey suede jacket (under $200) is on my wishlist for spring!

You know, cleaning out your closet feels great. However, one thing I dislike about fashion is having to throw away your favorite pieces because it’s time. I planning on doing a spring shoes post soon since I’m replacing several pairs from my wardrobe so stay tuned for that!
I’m cheesin’ real hard in these photos because my best guy friend was in the background posing like a fashion blogger and I just lost it. You should see the outtakes, ha!
