When it comes to Spring and Summer, I’m a huge fan of white, cotton, linen, eyelet, chambray and banker stripe-anything! After going through my closet, I realized I needed tops and shorts more than I needed pants and dresses. Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t have a lot of clothes after a few of my purges in the last few years, but that’s only because I’m working towards building a classic wardrobe I love.
Well, sadly, I still hardly have any tops for the upcoming warmer months. It’s quite the dilemma for my work wardrobe too because most of my tops are sweaters now (oops). So today, I thought I’d share my top picks to inspire you if you’re looking to revamp your closet.
If you’re new to the blog, I’m all about cost divided by time per wear. I can promise you’ll see a lot of quality over quantity. A lot of these tops are made with cotton, silk or linen fabrics and some are priced reasonably while some are more expensive. I just think it depends if you really want to invest in an item you’ll wear each season. Some people invest in Fall/Winter clothes and some invest in Spring/Summer and some all four seasons. Up to you!
What Spring and Summer tops would you pick from above?
Last year, I totally regretted not investing early on in my Spring and Summer wardrobe, but I’m not making the same mistake this year! Personally, I’m eyeing this soft blue off-the-shoulder top (way under $75), this white knit scalloped top and this peplum tee that can totally double as a work shirt!
