Considering that summer is officially here, I thought I’d review Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss over all while talking about the colors I’ve featured in my images.

I first came across the Anastasia Beverly Hills brand a few years ago when I purchased their contour kit. The kit was a great introduction to the brand for me so when I was back in Sephora (anyone else feel a magnetic force when you walk by a store?), I decided to take a look at their glosses. I purchased their Metallic Rose (which is a glittery dusty pink) color and left. After went through the entire thing, I went back for another tube and more colors. So far, with all of the colors I’ve tried, every one of them are very pigmented which is what I prefer.

I swatched (my first makeup swatching of any kind – yay!) the colors I currently have so you can see. The left photo in set of pictures above was taken in front of my bedroom window in natural lighting without flash. The photo on the right is with flash as I was losing the sunlight. I think it’s very accurate in terms of how the colors look at night.

Top to bottom – Vamp: This shade is perfect for Fall/Winter! You won’t need much of it at all so this shade may last you through both seasons! The glitter is extremely small and subtle. Peony: No glitter and one swipe is enough for add some color to your lips. Just make sure to do a lip sugar scrub before you apply! Date Night: This shade is so pretty in person! It reminds me of the emoji of the woman in a red dress. This glittery shade would be perfect for your 4th of July outfit! Note, I ran the wand on my arm three times to deepen the color, so this is a great layering color!

::typical blogger voice:: It also comes in 26 colors!

Wearability / Long-lasting

I feel that Anastasia’s glosses lasts for a long time. If I have to reapply, it’s only in the late afternoon. I mean, over 600 reviewers on Sephora‘s website agree with me on this great long-lasting formula!

If you’re one who likes to stick to one color for awhile, for $16 a pop, I feel this lip gloss is definitely worth the price. Let’s just say you plan on wearing the same color every day for a month and went barefaced on Sundays, it’d be $.64/day! Definitely worth it in my opinion!

If you love Anastasia’s lip glosses, please do let me know. I’m thinking about doing a give away soon and this might just be the beauty product to give away! ::hint hint::
