My Favorite Nude Lipsticks & Lip Glosses
Starting from the bottom: MAC lipstick in Blankety | L’Oreal Infalliable Pro Matte Gloss in Statement Nude | Charlotte Tilbury in Bitch Perfect | Charlotte Tilbury Lip Gloss in High Society | Bite Beauty in Blondie | Revlon in Super Natural | Charlotte Tilbury in Very Victoria
Over the last year, I’ve developed a hugeee love for what I like to call nude beauty. Give me all the nude/neutral eyeshadow palettes (review in the spring), neutral nail polishes and nude lipsticks and lip glosses and I’m a happy camper!
I wanted to give you a short review on each one as I’ve taken them for a test drive over the last six months to a year. I’m all about natural, fresh-faced and no makeup makeup looks so I thought it’d be fun to share these swatches with you (taken in nautral light with it being very cloudy, cloudy and a bit of sunshine) and link them in case you’re looking for a new lip product to try. I hope you find something you like because these are all in different price ranges.
MAC lipstick in Blankety
I didn’t use a lot of MAC products before until this year. I found this shade through Megan over at For All Things Lovely. It’s a little bit light on me, but nothing in the sense that it’ll wash out my face. The formula is smooth and doesn’t leave my lips dry at all.
L’Oreal Infalliable Pro Matte Gloss in Statement Nude
Can I just say that I’m not a huge fan of matte finish lips? But! Only because they’re SO drying! In comes L’Oreal with this amazing matte gloss. Obviously this doesn’t have a lot of staying power because it’s a gloss, but the finish is not drying on my lips! I consider a non-drying matte finish lip product a win even though it doesn’t last long, but that’s just my opinion. Out of all of my favorite nude lipsticks and lip glosses, this one is my favorite matte!
Charlotte Tilbury in Bitch Perfect
I love this shade for the warmer months as it’s more a coral shade on me. Sadly, I don’t wear this one as much as I don’t like the way it goes on my lips. I feel like I have to tug a bit (if that makes sense) to get some color on my lips. But! I do love the color so I’m willing to put some work into it, haha!
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Gloss in High Society
This is quite possibly the thickest gloss I’ve ever used. However, it’s not sticky. The color isn’t overly sheer as it’s pretty pigmented for a gloss in my opinion. The only downside is that it’s a smaller tube than traditional lip glosses I’ve used so that obviously means less product.
Bite Beauty in Blondie
Influenster sent me a set of the Bite Beauty Multisticks about two years ago and I finally got around to using them. I like using this shade as a base if I’m going to put on a sheer gloss. The formula goes on so smoothly!
Revlon in Super Natural
Out of all of the nude lipsticks and lip glosses, this is my favorite affordable gloss ever! Color is a tiny bit buildable, but for me, if I want a natural look, this is the gloss I reach for. It’s light and oh-so lovely! I grew up watching my mom put on Revlon products so this brand is one of my long-time favorites!
Charlotte Tilbury in Very Victoria
In terms of the CT brand, this shade goes on much better than the other shade I talked about earlier. It’s a bit darker on me, but if I put on the Revlon lip gloss, it’s perfect!
I hope you enjoy today’s mini-review post is about my favorite nude lipsticks and lip glosses. For me, I never leave the house without some color on my lips so I’d love your recommendations!
What are your favorite neutral lipsticks or lipglosses?
