If you know me, you know that I don’t tend to blog too far ahead as I like my posts to be fresh from my heart and mind. Well, for today’s #WellnessWednesday post, I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite health and wellness brands. I broke them up into different categories since everyone has different interests.
Tay’s Gourmet Granola – I found this granola over a year ago at Kroger. When I saw that Tay is a supporter of Children’s Hunger Fund, I was sold! CHF is an organization near and dear to my heart so knew I would love this product for years to come. Buying one bag of granola sends a meal to a hungry child so it’s a feel good inside and out product!
Earth Balance Peanut Butter – I can’t live without this stuff. Two grams of sugar (which is agave sweetened) for two tablespoons? Win! The fact that they understand the glycemic index? Double win! Now, the question is, which one is better? Crunchy peanut butter or creamy peanut butter? Note, you’re just not normal if you choose creamy over crunchy.
Eat Better Not Less: 100 Healthy and Satisfying Recipes Cookbook – If you’re a regular around here, it’s not a secret that I love Nadia and her work! I bought her cookbook earlier this year, but haven’t had the chance to use it yet. When I do, her beef tenderloin with plum blackberry sauce and garlic mushrooms is at the top of my list!
Steadfast Fitness & Performance – I first experienced Steadfast over a year ago and it was amazing! From personal training to sports teams training, boxing and bootcamp, the Steadfast team makes it easier to WANT to take care of yourself. Many businesses have an intimidating vibe, but not Steadfast! From fellow classmates to the instructors, they create an encouraging and supportive atmosphere. Working out isn’t easy, but with love at the center of everything they do, getting healthy is easier. This is the first fitness facility that I’ve came across that focuses on health in terms of mind, body and spirit. A+ in my book!
Dallas Fitness Ambassadors – I love this community of health bloggers so much! Not only am I learning important information from the content they create, they plan and host and collaborate on a lot of fitness events happening right here in Dallas! Everything from acro yoga to silent disco to barre to puppy yoga (I mean, would I really perfect any yoga poses if I had puppies to play with?!) and cycling events, DFA has your back. Yours truly is a DFA member herself!
BBG Community – I’ve been doing BBG on and off for a few years and let me tell you, this community of girls and women coming together to cheer each other on is amazing! Transformations and personal health stories have been amazing to discover! It’s so inspiring to see so much unity with one purpose: to get healthy and inspire others to do the same! They even reposted my picture this past summer! So fun!
Nike – My favorite shoes from Nike are their Free TR style. They never let me down! They know how to make a shoe visually appealing and know their sizing, at least for me. I’m currently loving my new Flyknits and am eyeing their Metcon DSX Flyknit in Chrome Blush and their Air Zoom Strong AMP!
APL – APLs are a brand I definitely planning on owning one day. I love their vision, their story and their products so much! Fusing training shoes with a touch of luxe designer feel, I’m sold! I’ve never owned a pair, but I want one in EVERY single color!
