Spring will be here in just a few days and with all of the gloomy days we’ve had lately, I’m very excited for some sunshine. Trees are blooming and I just saw a few bluebonnets pop up this morning on my way to work too.
To get myself in the mood for warmer days, I started to shop for some beauty newness this past weekend. And honestly, I really wanted to pop into Sephora and check out product lines from female-founded brands I adore that I wasn’t able to see in-person.
To kick off the week, I thought it’d be fun to share with you a mini Sephora haul (there will be more to come, trust me, ha!)
SUMMER FRIDAYS R+R MASK
Y’all know how much I love SF’s Jet Lag Mask so it was a no brainer to nab this beautiful rose gold tube! I had put some on the back of my hand in store to test it out. And I loved the smell and texture so much that I ended up choosing the R+R mask over the Overtime mask. Will report back with a full review after I test drive it awhile!
CHARLOTTE TILBURY LIPSTICK IN PILLOW TALK
As a HUGE fan of Charlotte Tilbury, I had to give in and purchase her signature lipstick in Pillow Talk. I already have her Wonder Glow and two lipsticks in Bitch Perfect and Very Victoria and a few more of her products so I’m no stranger to the CT world. Charlotte is the queen of gorgeous, neutral, dewy makeup so it’s only natural that I love her and her products!
HUDA BEAUTY LIQUID MATTE LIPSTICK IN WIFEY
I’m brand new to Huda Beauty, I know. I’m SO late to the game. When I read that she’s a former MUA/YouTuber turned business woman, I had to check out her line and support her. I think it’s SO awesome to watch women using products to creating products. To hold something tangible in my hands that was once a distant dream to them, inspires me so much! Review to come soon. I’m thinking of a liquid matte lipstick comparison. Let me know if you want me to review this kind of lipstick specifically!
PAT MCGRATH LABS LIP GLOSS IN FLESH FANTASY
After seeing Pat McGrath’s products and work everywhere (she just launched at Bergdorf Goodman!), I had to try out one of her products. What better way to get introduced to a brand than to go for a lip product, right? Considering every makeup product I purchased on my trip to Sephora was in a matte finish, I had to get a gloss! Hey, spring is almost here! I’ll do a lip gloss review as the weather warms up!
That’s it for my latest mini beauty haul! Annie Lawless’ line was supposed to be a part of this post, but her liquid lipstick I wanted was out of stock. I was so bummed! However, I did get to see her The One eyeshadow palette in person and it’s so beautiful! I’ll be sure to share more when I get my hands on her products.
SHOP THE POST
I hope you enjoyed this month’s mini beauty haul!
I’m currently planning beauty content as a lot of you have asked for more of it. Expect a ton of beauty-related posts coming your way! Just know that skincare will be the main focus as that’s what you’ve requested! It’ll take a little longer than usual as I want to make sure I test drive products to give you real-time feedback.
