Women are maternal, feminine, unique, & wonderfully made. We cannot be replicated or appropriated. —Amanda Ensing
For the last several months, I have been purging my makeup drawers and bags in an effort to downsize and live with less.
As I was purging, I realized that I want to fill my drawers back up by supporting more small beauty brands.
I just feel a sense of duty to support smaller beauty brands and would rather support small beauty brands, especially in this economic climate. And if they’re women-owned, even better, right?
Speaking of, in this article, I want to share some beauty brands that are right up my alley and if we have similar tastes, I know you’ll enjoy this article too!
Here are some small makeup brands with beautiful aesthetics that I love…
When Rose Inc. first launched, I placed an order immediately. The minimal packaging is beautiful with every single product!
So far, one of my beauty empties is the brightening serum and I’m currently using up the last of the hydrating concealer.
I came across this brand through an Instagram ad and I must say, “Well done, Instagram! The one time I’m okay with a targeted ad!” Ha!
I’ll report back after I use them too because I just got a fresh manicure. And you can bet I’ll be ordering their Gelcare Starter Kit!
I learned about Refy Beauty from Marianna Hewitt so I ordered some things to try. The packaging is so nice for minimalists.
It’s still a toss up with the Skin Finish powder so I’ll have to let you know my final verdict at a later time since I want to try it some more.
The queen of neutrals did us no wrong. She did no wrong. The cool part is Ashley is not planning on doing new drops all the time, just products one would use and love on the daily.
Her liquid lipstick formulas are so velvety! I got shades Unfollow Me, Faith > Fear when she first launched. From her latest launch, I got pink shades She Will Not Fall, Grace, and lip gloss in Set Apart.
As someone who is a sucker for packaging, I cannot wait for more from her because her branding and packaging are insanely too good!
I use products from each of these beauty brands and love that they’re all unique in their own way. Next up, I really want to try other small beauty brands like Merit Beauty, Dime beauty, and Rodial. I hope you enjoyed discovering some new-to-you beauty brands!
