It feels so weird sharing an outfit post at such a time like this. Our lifestyles have changed overnight and most of us have been forced to work from home.
However, I remain optimistic that good days are coming soon. Although the spring season is already here, I wanted to share one last winter outfit. Featuring this cropped faux fur jacket, I’m sharing two similar looks with you. It’s my way of saying goodbye to winter (even though it’s currently in the high 40s here in Dallas).
I know it’s still cold where some of you live so I hope this post serves you well.
If it’s starting to warm up where you live, the upside is that this post is a distraction right now. The other part is that you can bookmark this outfit for future reference too.
To be honest with you, I purchased this faux fur jacket in January for a winter wedding. Initially, I thought it was going to be used for fall and winter special occasions. Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself reaching for it time and again for months.
In the first photo, I styled my jacket with a pair of coated skinny jeans and an old leopard print tee from my closet. I felt like it was appropriate for a weekend look to meet up with friends or running errands.
And for the second look, I styled it with a button up cheetah print silk blouse and faux leather panel pants. I kept my bag and shoes the same to show you a slight variation.
Wardrobe tip: choose a different printed tunic within the same color family as your bag to keep your outfit elevated.
Although both outfits look really similar from the photos, the first outfit has very casual feeling and look whereas the second outfit is more elevated with a silk button up and work appropriate pants.
Do you own a faux fur jacket? Which look would you wear? Let me know in the comments!
I’ll be sharing more of this jacket in the future, especially this fall and winter. Be sure to keep an eye out for more outfit posts in the coming months!

May 8, 2020Hey! You are looking so beautiful in this outfit. Your sense of style is expressed through the clothing and accessories you wear and the way you’re groomed. I agree that we can express ourselves through clothing. Our clothing represents a lot about our personalities and lifestyle. I would love to wear this outfit with my simple shawl scarf. In these days Shawl scarf is a huge trend. Thanks for the post.
