There are four basic food groups: plain chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate. —Jill Shalvis
I have said this before and I’ll say it again, while I do not have much of a sweet tooth, I do enjoy cooking and baking, especially during the holiday season.
There’s just something about receiving a baked good that adds a touch of nostalgia — kind of like a warm hug from a grandparent.
Even though I hate to admit it, buying things in-store or online to gift is easier than making things.
However, the time it takes to make something is a true love language.
For me, making a gift versus buying a gift puts me in the Christmas spirit. And a huge plus for me is that it helps me to slow down and be in the moment. When I make a gift or a baked good, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and the gift recipient feel loved. Every time.
That said, I thought I’d share with you one of my favorite sweet treats recipes!
Let it be known that when I made these over eight years ago, they were a major hit at my office. And I’m sure you will receive tons of compliments too!
I also think it’s safe to say that there are tons of recipes out there similar to this one. However, this recipe is what I was gifted and loved it so much, I re-created it and gifted it to my friends and family.
Feel free to share this article as I created a printable “recipe” below that you can pass along to your friends and family who want to make something easy as gifts (or for themselves)!

Holiday Sweet Treat Recipe: White Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispies | SheSweatsDiamonds.com
A no-bake recipe to make as gifts or to bring to holiday parties if you don't have a lot of time!
Ingredients
- 1 package white almond bark
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1 cup rice krispies I'd use Real Cereal Co. as their product is just one ingredient!
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
-
Break up the almond bark and put in a microwave safe bowl.
-
Melt the almond bark in 30 second intervals in the microwave. Be sure to read directions on package as each brand may have different instructions.
-
Fold in peanuts, marshmallows, and rice krispies until all covered. Be careful not to mix it too hard or the rice krispies will turn into dust, ha!
-
Scoop spoonfuls onto parchment paper. I find that a soup spoon size works best.
-
Let the krispies dry about two hours to completely set before packing.
Recipe Notes
These krispies take about 15 minutes max to make and two hours to be ready so by the time you finish a Christmas movie, they are ready to pack as last-minute gifts or for yourself to enjoy while you binge another classic Christmas movie!
Personal preference, but I also love putting these in the fridge and setting them out on the counter before eating as they taste better a tad cold.
While I haven’t made these in quite some time, this is my favorite no-bake sweet treat holiday recipe. And I think it’s high time I get back to it so I’m making them this year!
It’s simple and fast so if you’re on a huge time crunch, grab some elves and get to work! While you wait for it to set, you can do other things like wrap the last of your gifts or finish up your cooking!
It’s been at least five years since I’ve made these so I can’t wait to do it with cleaner ingredients!
With the holiday rush, endless to-do lists, and traffic chaos one has to face for running simple errands, I hope this no-bake recipe helps ease the stress for you this Christmas season.
I’ve also linked treat bags and boxes along with ribbon if you need package wrapping ideas. Thank God for order online, pick up in store, right?!
