Happy Three Year Blogiversary, She Sweats Diamonds!

Happy 3rd Blogiversary, She Sweats Diamonds!!! - She Sweats Diamonds - Huong Vo - Dallas blogger - Dallas blog - Fashion and sustainble Lifestyle blog

I CANNOT believe yesterday marked the three year blogiversary of the launch of She Sweats Diamonds!

Time has certainly flown by because I’ve had a lot of fun (learning experiences) these last 1096 days.

As we head into 2020 and into this next decade, I’ll be honest with you. Three years into this and I still have no idea where SSD will take me. However, I plan on taking her to places I’ve never been. Part of me is scared and nervous, but a larger part of me is excited of what’s to come. I’ve been blogging since the Xanga years and to this day, even after 16 years, I can say I still enjoy writing immensely.

Not only do I get to create content that brings some sort of value to you, I get to express myself through writing. Ever since 7th grade, I knew I loved to write. It’s how I express my myself and my feelings about certain topics and life in general.

On the third blogiversary of She Sweats Diamonds, I can say that I’ve discovered that I want and like to tell stories. And if I can do that with fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands I love (and use), I’m one happy camper. Bring on all the collaborations and partnerships this year!

2020 PLANS

My plans this year is to grow and evolve as a person as much as I can in every area of my life. That said, my plans are to continue to evolve and grow SSD. The goal is to expand into travel (my own city included) and hone in more on what I want my brand to be. Everything from the vibe/tone to the aesthetics of my brand will be one of my main focuses in 2020.

To combat what’s going on with the environment and sustainability, I’d like to shift more towards luxury fashion (quality vs. quantity) and begin replacing the “material goods mentality” with experiences by traveling more. I’ll go into more detail about this later.

I’ve never liked the term influencer. And I’m starting not to like the word ‘blogger’ either. Truthfully, I don’t know where this industry will be in the next year/decade as it’s incredibly saturated. However, I do know that I’ll be staying in my own lane and using my gifts to serve others because that’s what makes me most happiest.

In this next decade, I know I will be able to pick up my laptop and work from anywhere in the world. I know that I will inspire many others to step out and share their gifts. And I also know I will be able to do this from the couch in my living room.

Thank you.

Thank you for being here for me, for reading my posts, utilizing my content in any way that you have, and for engaging with me on here and on my social media platforms. I wouldn’t be able to do this without you. Thank you for your support!
