Stars Tee (navy version on sale for $15!) | J. Crew Skirt (super old; I linked some fun skirts below) | Converse Sneakers | Alex Earrings | Lipstick in Ruby Woo | Michael Kors Crossbody bag (old, LOVE this Red Gucci crossbody bag) | Aviator Sunglasses | Red Nail Polish in It’s Raining Men

Happy 4th of July, guys! I wanted to share a fun All-American look I wore last year with y’all today. Since you usually see me in neutral outfits, I thought you’d enjoy this rare color sighting of red, white and blue, haha!

Here’s a fun shot in front of the famous United States flag mural in Deep Ellum:

Below is another patriotic look I wore about three years ago. My entire outfit is really old, but in case you want to hunt these pieces down on Poshmark or eBay, my white eyelet-sleeve dress is from J. Crew, crossbody bag is Michael Kors, sunnies are Ray Ban and flats are Kenneth Cole.

That’s it for today!

I know a lot of events are going on in our nation right now and that we’re all stressed, but please remember that our country really is a great country. We are very fortunate to live in a land of so many opportunities and more freedom than what most realize. Positive things are going on right now…if you just look for it. With all that’s happening, let’s focus on our founding fathers’ principles along with our soldiers and veterans who have fought to protect our freedoms.

Let’s enjoy this day with our loved ones to celebrate what family really means. By celebrating with our families, we show our appreciation to our military men/women and their families and their sacrifices because many can’t come home or will never be able to come home to have the opportunity to celebrate freedom ever again.

I don’t know what I have planned to celebrate for today yet, but I do know that I’ll be praying for this great nation, our leaders and certainly for the protection of our military stationed all around the world.

I do not take my freedom lightly on this day and am so proud to be an American!

How do you plan on celebrating your freedoms today?

Wishing you and your loved ones a fun, safe and happy 4th!
