Happy Tuesday, y’all! It’s that time again! I mean, guys. I’m on a roll here! Considering I’m working on being consistent in all areas of my life, I’m just so proud of myself for getting these weekly outfit posts up for you!
Anyway, for this week’s look, I kept it simple with a classic chambray button up and black skinny jeans. They’re so dark, stretchy and super flattering. Since secrets don’t make friends, I must mention that these jeans can totally pass for black slacks (::cough:: for the office ::cough cough::). Just sayin’.
I’m not much of a heels kind of gal so you’ll almost always catch me in flats or sneakers. I snagged these classic pair of black flats at Nordstrom Rack a few months back. They’re comfortable and obviously go with everything. If you’re looking for a similar pair, these pointy-toe flats are almost identical, it just has a cute keyhole opening at the top of the foot.
Let’s talk about this reversible neutral tote (the grey/ivory tote is currently on sale for under $40!) for a minute! Let me disclose by saying that I ordered this black/brown tote about a year or two ago. I was looking for a bag for work and took a chance based on the huge number of positive reviews. I loved it so much that I got it in a neutral/blush pink and a dark grey/light grey.
First of all, if you’re like me and are hard on bags, you’ll want to keep reading. My experience was quite the opposite of what I was expecting. Because the bag is made from 100% polyurethane, I was expecting for it to wear down quickly. After carrying my life in it for a few months, I was surprised the handles didn’t start falling apart (which is a problem I always have). Rather, it exceeded my expectations.
Since I’m petite, I don’t like wearing bags that overwhelm my frame. This tote is proportionate to my body and is still roomy enough to fit my laptop, cell phone, wallet, keys, makeup bag AND my planner! Because it’s so roomy, I always take it with me when I travel. Additionally, it also comes with a matching wristlet. I normally keep things like pens and vitamins in that so I don’t have to dig around for them at the bottom of my bag.
I’m pretty sure you’ll appreciate the functionality and durability of this tote. Because I carry my work and blog life in this reversible tote, I wanted to try it out first before I bought it in multiple colors. Most of all, you’re basically paying for two bags for the price of one so that’s major points in my book. So if you’re looking for a work bag, I highly recommend this reversible neutral tote!
I hope you liked my mini review this week! About my poses, so sorry they look similar! I just shot these real quick while I was out before the storms rolled in.
