I’ve been so busy, it’s unreal, which brings me to today’s article!
I wanted to share with you a healthy morning cocktail shot I’ve been incorporating into my morning routine for the last year.
My personal trainer friend shared this recipe with me and it really helped with my digestion so I thought I’d be caring by sharing!
Twenty minutes after I wake up…
I ignite my metabolism for the day with this morning cocktail shot:
Foodie: Healthy Morning Cocktail Shot
A quick morning cocktail shot that will jumpsuit your health each day!
- 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 Lemon
- Cayenne pepper
- Water *Optional
Mix all ingredients and chug!
I’ll tell you that I could call this a “Wake Up!” shot because I’m definitely wide awake after downing some cayenne pepper, haha!
Note that this cocktail recipe is a shot, not an actual drink.
However, if you know you can’t handle this kind of shot, put the lemon juice, apple cider vinegar in a glass instead and fill up the rest of the glass with water to dilute some of the ACV.
MY MORNING ROUTINE
If you want to know my morning routine in the kitchen, this is what I normally do. I tend to switch it up to keep my days interesting so it’s usually between this cocktail shot or hot water with lemon in the morning. After that, I have my protein shake, overnight oats, a smoothie or eggs with spinach, mushrooms and avo for breakfast. It just depends on my mood really.
