Yep, another silk dress. Can you blame me though? It’s SUMMER. However, I’m giving you two ways to style this dress I found at Clotheshorse Anonymous a few weeks ago. Since I have a lot of images, today will be part one.
In a previous post, I gave some tips on how to stay cool over the summer in terms of fashion. For me, I’ve been living in loose clothing (mostly silk and cotton), shorts and tee’s all summer. When I found this dress at Clotheshorse Anonymous, I was elated to add another piece to my wardrobe for the hot weather! These days, my summer uniform consists of silk dresses, shorts and nice tops with sandals.
I’ll be heading back to Clotheshorse Anonymous again soon to see what else I can find to live in for the summer. I’ll also post a mini haul and show you what the store has for some of you who can’t shop in-person!
Like I said before, now is the time to browse consignment shops to look for expensive silk and cotton dresses for a great price! Even though I’m a fall girl through and through, I’m definitely on the lookout for end-of-season deals as fall/winter approaches!
What’s your go-to summer uniform?
Are you a dresses all-day-everyday or are you a shorts and t-shirt kind of gal?

Sidenote, please excuse the late post today! It’s been quite an adventure to publish this particular blog post. Definitely had #BloggerProbs. It’s not easy posting five days a week with a day job so I appreciate your patience!
EDIT: Some of you asked if my sandals are comfortable. They are comfy to walk around in. However, I wouldn’t recommend them for a long day of walking as your feet need proper support if you plan on being on your feet all day.
DISCLOSURE: Thank you to Clotheshorse Anonymous for partnering with me on this post! All thoughts and opinions are my own. As always, thank you for supporting my sponsors!
