Blush Ruffle Sweater (from this past season; similar pink ruffle sweater) | Faux Leather Moto Jacket | Skinny Jeans | OTK boots (similar, less expensive OTK boots) | Bexley Earrings (on super sale!) | Sunglasses (my fave $12 pair, ha!)
When it comes to weekend wear, I’m not going to lie. I like mt looks to be easy yet put together. I say that because my daddy taught me as I was growing up to never go out looking like you just rolled out of bed. Why? Because of two reasons: 1) You never know who you’re going to meet and 2) first impressions are everything.
I believed him and to this day, I still agree. To me, an outfit says a lot about a person and how they view themselves. Did they take the time to get dressed? Do they care about personal appearance? It’s not that they should care a big deal about what they look like to others, but more so caring because they care.
I like comfort, but I also like style so if I could get both in one outfit, why not?
If you asked me what my fall uniform looks like, it’s usually a cute sweater, skinny jeans and some boots. Today’s post is just that. My look is easy yet I don’t look like I’ve just woken up.
And you know what? I’m in LOVE with this ruffle sweater! After seeing Lydia wear it, I went hunting for it to no avail. That is until Falon over at Club Monaco found it for me over the summer. NINE months after I initially saw it! Yay! It’s probably my favorite top in my closet to date!
It’s sold out since then, but I linked a very similar blush ruffle sweater below for you to recreate this look because chances are, you have every piece in your closet already!
Tell me…
What does your fall uniform usually look like?
