Knot Dress (old; exact knot dress in mustard yellow; loveee this knot dress too!) | Faux Leather Jacket (under $100; this exact version I linked has gold details instead of silver like mine) | OTK Boots (worth the investment! love these suede OTK boots too) | Bag (really old, similar black lace bag) | Earrings (old; from Kendra Scott‘s summer 2015 Via Maya collection; similar stud earrings) | Aviator Sunglasses (a steal for $12!)
Happy Halloween, friends!
For this week’s look, I thought I’d share this really edgy outfit I wore this past weekend. The cooler weather called for a jersey-esque knot dress with some leather details and a touch of lace to add some girliness to the look.
I was cleaning out my closet this past week and was trying on everything to make sure what I kept, I would wear. Well, I found this knot dress I purchased about a year ago and put it on. I had forgotten how comfortable this knot dress was so it ended up staying in my closet! That and because it’s grey, haha!
It’s funny because I remember wearing it last October with black Nikes on a cool morning. Not even a few hours later, I was melting at Central Market while looking at pumpkins and mums. For a thin-ish dress, I got hot really fast! I never wore it after that because we really didn’t get fall/winter weather last year.
Praying we have a really, really, really cool fall and a super cold winter! To my friends who want it to stay warm, shush! Candles, chili/stews, boots and blankets can’t be enjoyed in warm/hot weather. Give me a few months of cold then you can have your eight months of heat!
