If you do it right, it will last forever. —Massimo Vignelli
It’s Monday funday! I went to Trader Joe’s on Friday after work to see if peonies were in yet and alas, they were!!!
Finally! My hunt for peonies got me thinking about doing a home refresh. I haven’t really put much effort into my place and since my last (and only) home post, I wanted to put more thought in figuring out my interior style.
I went back to my Pinterest boards to find a common theme and found that I gravitate towards everything white and grey. Since I’m working towards building a neutral wardrobe, I want to inject more color into my home (see palette below). Right now, this color is at the top of my mind. I can totally see it with white and grey along with marble and copper accents with a touch of a nude blush here and there.
To top it off, I see lots of flowers and plants sprinkled throughout to bring nature in. However, I’m open to many different ideas. I mean, I wanted to be an interior designer growing up so I think home decor is somewhat in my blood, ha!
For today’s post, I wanted to share a few images of inspiration with you on my style at home and what I’m thinking about and working towards!
Which one is your favorite?
I’m looking to West Elm, Crate & Barrel, Wayfair, One Kings Lane, and Home Goods for the time being to see if I can find some great pieces. Warning, this is a slow process for me considering I’m very indecisive (fellow Libras, where are you at?) so there’s that, haha!
