Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die. —G.K. Chesterton
Today is a day of remembrance. A moment where we remember courageous who people gave their lives for our freedom.
For those who are able to take today off, remember that however you spend it, gathering with family/friends, shopping, or barbecuing in your backyard, please take a moment to honor and remember those who died in active military service.
Those who died were mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, sons, and daughters.
We would not forget our family so let us not forget them and their families on this day. Their ultimate sacrifices allow you and I to live in freedom.

Our freedom is not a right. Our freedom was fought for and is still fought for to this day so don’t take any of your blessings for granted.
Let’s honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice by hugging our loved ones a little closer, taking time to enjoy the outdoors, showing kindness to a stranger, and being in the moment, not just on this day, but every day.

However you spend this day, I hope you take a moment to take a deep breath of gratitude for your life, the freedom to chase your goals/dreams, and all blessings that have been bestowed upon you.
