This face mask will make me look as though I know what sleep is.
I hope you guys have been doing well and are happy and healthy. I’ve been keeping myself very busy lately. I’m cooking new-to-me dishes, am almost finished purging my closet, sleeping more, and am also in the middle of taking three online classes.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned since spending additional time at home, it’s to practice more self-care.
And now that I have a lot of time on my hands, I plan on upping my skincare regiment too. I’m by no means a beauty expert, but I can definitely say that I love masking because I feel like I’m in “wind down” mode anytime I use a mask.
Currently, my skincare routine is pretty basic. During the day, I cleanse, moisturize, top off with SPF, then some light makeup. At night, I cleanse, add an under eye treatment, and moisturize.
While I have quite a bit of time off right now, I thought I’d add some new skincare products to the rotation and share them with you.
Below are some face masks sitting in my beauty drawers waiting for me to try them out.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY Goddess Skin Clay Mask
As you guys know, I’m a HUGE Charlotte Tilbury fan, so when I received this sample with a past Sephora order, in it went into my “to try” skincare drawer.
You can also try this exact clay mask for $15 if you don’t want to buy the bigger tube.
ERNO LASZLO Pore Cleansing Clay Mask
The sweet Erno Laszlo team sent me a box of their products to try during the holidays. I tried this clay mask once since then and from first impressions, I can say it’s love at first try!!! I’ll keep masking with it in the coming weeks and let you know what I really think.
IMAGE SKINCARE Hydrating Hydrogel Sheet Mask
Since my sister-in-love is in the skincare industry, she gave me this mask to try. I’ve never heard of this brand before, but I’m not going to say no to a brand dermatologists use/endorse.
VERSED Photos Please Brightening Tightening Face Mask
I picked up this mask in early March at Target. Pretty sure now is the perfect time to try it, right? Did I mention that this skincare brand is cruelty-free? ::wink wink::
ZO SKIN HEALTH Ossential Skin-brightening Sheet Masque
I’m relatively new to the ZO Skin Health brand. My sweet friend, Mara, sent me a package a few years ago and in it was a tube of their HEAVENLY hand and body scrub. I was so impressed. However, I didn’t get a chance to finish the tube before it expired. I know, insert sad face emoji.
Fast forward to this past December, my sister-in-love also gave me this mask to try. I was SO excited to have recognized this brand! I seriously can’t wait to see how this product will work on my skin.
Since I’m not particular about the kinds of face masks out there, I’m open to trying various brands so feel free to leave any suggestions! I’ll go back and update this post as I try each product!
