“Autumn shows us how beautiful it is to let things go.”

Autumn is one of my absolute favorite seasons as it symbolizes so much about life’s lessons — slowing down, inevitable change, and letting go.

As much as I don’t like change, I’m learning to embrace it more, but at my own pace.

What I love most about what fall signifies is letting go.

And if you really think about it, letting go is the same as growth.

Sometimes we let go because we’re forced to let go. Other times, it’s because we know it’s the best choice in order to grow and/or receive something (or someone) that’s meant for us.

Ultimately, we do it because what/who we’re letting go just naturally comes to an end, not because we want it to end. And what happens? Looking back, we’re glad it happened, right?

However, before letting go of our current chapter, slowing down is necessary to lessen the pain of letting go.

And as we slow down, it’s human nature to not want to forget about moments that mean something to us. In the end, it’s more so about being present and living in the moment — being intentional and soaking it all up before we have to say goodbye.

Is transition easy?

Not one bit. It’s very uncomfortable.

And that’s what got me to thinking about this year’s fall lifestyle mood board…getting comfortable with being uncomfortable.

As we hang on to summer a little while longer, I not only wanted to share my 2025 fall lifestyle mood board for style and beauty inspiration for this upcoming season.

I wanted to encourage you to think about slowing down, embracing change and think about what or who you need to let go these next few months. The goal is to allow new blessings to flow to you.

2025 Fall Lifestyle Mood Board | She Sweats Diamonds - Natasha Denona Glam Eyeshadow palette - brunette hair color - Chanel ballerina flats - burgundy nails

One // My hair has been greying for almost two years. And the funny thing is, I’ve let it go as it hasn’t bothered me at all. However, as time passes by, I’ve realized that I’m not ready to welcome the latter half of my life this way yet. It’s also been so long since I’ve done something drastic to boost my mood. Changing my hair color to a dark chocolate brown like this may not be a bad idea. But first, a long overdue haircut is needed then a color consultation is next!

Two // One of my favorite things to photograph is beautiful products especially beauty-related things. This Glam Eyeshadow Palette is beautiful for fall, isn’t it? I also caved and got this Chanel Les 4 Ombres eyeshadow quad as I couldn’t resist having a smaller option for travel. Don’t be afraid to try new-to-you makeup!

Three // While I’m usually a neutral/light pink manicure kind of person, I’ve fully embraced burgundy nails for fall. For me, I feel like a quiet yet mysterious confidence exudes when wearing burgundy nails. What do you think? I hope you try it if you’ve never done it before!

Four // I got these earrings from a small jewelry brand a few years ago and love them so much! I plan on growing my jewelry wardrobe through Always Coco. To me, purchasing jewelry is a big deal. And you can justify the price if you tie a significant memory/milestone to it.

Five // I’m a crossbody girl through and through. However, Kate is making me rethink about going back to wearing totes. Looking at this photo, I also need to add more brown to my wardrobe. Speaking of, brown is a color I’ve embraced so much within this last year that it’s become one of my favorites! And I used to hate brown too, lol!

Six // I used to wear watches a lot when I was in high school. While I can’t remember why I stopped, I started wearing them again last month. I’m a huge fan of vintage watch brands like Seiko, Citizen, and Regency and hope to slowly add to my collection.

Seven // Even though I don’t wear red lipstick often, a deep red for fall sounds exciting. It just takes a lot for me to embrace such a bold color like red when it comes to lip color, haha!

Eight // While my handbag size preferences are usually small to medium, I do not mind wearing a mini bag every now and then. Don’t let this small Le Pliage Pouch bag fool you. It fit a lot more than I thought it would when I first got it. You can also turn it into a crossbody bag with this leather strap kit.

Nine // Instead of buying just to buy, I’ve finally stepped outside of my comfort zone and started building my investment wardrobe. While it was unnerving to pull the first trigger, I’m so glad I made the decision to begin. Life is too short to not enjoy it luxuriously!

Even though I’m not ready to let go of summer, I am very much looking forward to autumn (as you can tell).

I hope I’ve inspired you to learn/begin to let go of the old so you can expect the new.

Tell me, what do you love most about the fall season? Is there anything above I’ve said that resonates with you?

If you could create your own 2025 fall lifestyle mood board, what would be on it?
