“At the end, it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished. It’s about who you lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back.” —Denzel Washington
Happy Wellness Wednesday, loves! For today’s article, I wanted to do something fun and inspirational.
I love following groups and individuals who are living their lives at a high level especially in the health world. They just push me to want to do better and become more.
We could all benefit from following inspirational people.
If you’re needing that nudge, keep on reading! Here are my favorite ten fitness Instagram accounts I love!
I’ve been following these gorgeous sisters for awhile now and let me tell you, their feed is a neutral lover’s dream come true, ha! I love that Felicia and Diana are huge supporters of strength training because this girl can’t stand cardio (only the dance kind).
Check out this video where they teach their followers proper form when lifting weights. For having a big following, I love that they take time to answer questions in the comments!
I’ve been following Lindsey for about five years now. I found her when she was in the fashion world running her blog called Saucy Glossie.
Within the last several years, she’s evolved her blog into Calla in Motion sharing her travels and healthy lifestyle (she’s a yogi) to unbelievable places like South Belize. I love how her amazing images really tells a story or evoke a feeling.
I discovered Cassey a few years back and I just love how she turned her own experience and health journey into a business to help other women. Might I add that she’s hilarious? Case in point, look at the dog and hair tie memes below, haha!
I followed Martina a year or two ago after Kayla Itsines featured one of her posts on her account.
She is always conversing with her followers on her posts, asking them questions and telling them what she’s up to. Her breakfast staple? Oatmeal. Lots of it. That and cute workout gear. Yeah. Gimme.
I started following Shannon late last year because I LOVE her visuals. She’s on a health journey herself and I love how she uses her account to document her journey as well as educate others on food and fitness.
Her account is great for visual learners!
What can I say about this couple??? I love Daniel and Kelly from Fitness Blender! I found them several years ago through one of my besties (hi Sarah!) who wanted us to do a YouTube workout her.
My favorite workout of theirs? Total body strength workout! Their videos are simple and I love how they show the human side of being fit and strong!
I’m not a huge yoga person, but when I found Sjana last year, I had to follow her! Her adventures around the world through a health perspective has changed my mind on practicing yoga.
While I may not be a full-on yogi, I don’t mind practicing some moves because of her! If you didn’t know, she’s also one of the trainers for the new (well, updated) Sweat app that just came out!
I found Jen through Lewis Howes (she’s his girlfriend) and didn’t waste a single second on hitting that follow button. Her physical strength is so amazing!
I had to follow her because she creates videos on how to work out certain parts of the body. Yep, perfect for people with injuries like me! You won’t regret following her and that’s a promise!
No list would be complete without the queen of health and wellness herself! Kayla’s account is full of transformation and progress photos from girls and women around the world who use her BBG program along with colorful food, places she wants to travel to, her own travels, videos of her meet ups and her adorable husky pups!
Her heart for women to feel confident and strong knows no bounds! I’ll be switching from her book to using her Sweat app this coming summer!
Speaking of the Sweat app, here’s the gorgeous Kelsey Wells! Her health journey has been incredible to watch! I began following her when she had around 7,000 followers and to see her growth in all areas of her life has been so inspiring!
She has amazing taste in terms of workout gear (I want everything she wears) and seriously looks like she could be Kayla’s other sister, haha! She’s also one of the trainers for the Sweat app so if you’re post-partum, give her workouts a try!
FOR THOSE LOCATED IN THE DALLAS/FT. WORTH AREA:
I love these guys! I’ve been going to Steadfast for about a year now and I must say, you won’t find another uplifting, motivating and Christ-driven workout facility! They are brothers and sisters in Christ who really support and push you to get your sweat on! A judgement-free zone and tons of positivity! One of my favorite quotes they have at their facilities is, “Have fun while getting better!”
They also support business and schools in the area in terms of health programs and contests.
If you’re local to DFW and want a central place to find out where ALL of fitness events are happening, the Fitness Ambassadors got your back! Everything from acro yoga to silent disco to barre and cycling events, we’ve got you covered. Yours truly is a DFA member herself! Here’s my recap of the Sunset Yoga event we put on earlier this year!
That’s all, loves! I hope you found these accounts to be inspiring and follow the ones that resonate with you most!
