Welcome back to my Transformation Thursdayseries, loves! October is almost here so I’m hoping Mother Nature starts cooperating here in Texas! I WANT cooler and cozy weather. I mean, my bestie just gifted me two mini white pumpkins (thanks, Rachie!) so it has to happen right?!
Anyway, check out my finds for the month of September!

How to Get Accepted to Reward Style by Kate Loves Makeup – I found Kate when my best friend (hi Sarah!) sent me a link to one of her articles. I applied to Reward Style a few years ago, but was rejected because I didn’t post enough. I thought it was nice for them to provide me feedback. When I applied again earlier this year, I was rejected again, but wasn’t provided an explanation on ways to improve so I found Kate’s article to be very helpful so I could get better in order to be accepted into the program when I apply again in the future.
I also found Kate’s blogging tips very easy to understand. She’s also a licensed CPA, so if you’re new and are wanting to be a professional blogger, I’d check her out if I were you! Sidenote, this article about taxes for bloggers Kate wrote is really helpful!
Book (Mid-length read)
Finish: Give Yourself the Gift of Done by Jon Acuff – I just finished reading Jon’s book about two days ago and let me tell you, it’s SO good! If you can start on your goals/projects, but can’t finish them (seems like this is everyone’s problem), this is the book for you! Jon talks about embracing imperfection, having fun and asks key questions we need to evaluate for our own lives/goals. I can’t say much more other than you can take away gold nuggets and start applying them to your life right away. You have to get a copy. Jon’s book isn’t a one-time read. It’s something I plan on listening to over and over as I finish my goals and evolve as a person. I listened to his book on Audible (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this app!) and just started it again, it’s that good!
Verb is an influencer marketplace app. The app helps brands who are looking to sponsor an influencer. Brands sign up. Influencers sign up. Think of Verb as Dr. Hitch who plays matchmaker! Some partnerships are sponsored product and some are paid. Now, isn’t that cool?! Shout out to my friend, Shamira, fellow Dallas Fitness Ambassador, for telling me about this app!
Levert Beauty – I came across this brand earlier this year on Instagram and hit the follow button pretty quick! I’m becoming quite addicted to beauty products and love learning about new, “clean” brands out there so I had to mention this great company! I can’t say I’ll always go for vegan products, but I always love learning about great brands and their dedication to clean beauty. I’ve been looking for a non-aluminum deodorant for awhile so you can bet I’ll be browsing their Bath + Body section of their website!
If you’re really sensitive to beauty and skincare products, I highly recommend you look at their GORGEOUS website for products that might fit your needs. You can shop based on your skin type and even go as far and narrowing down your search based on specialty topics like Made in USA, Vegan, Gluten-Free and No Animal Testing. How cool is that?!

Make Anything Happen – Jennifer Lopez – Whether you like her or not, you’ve got to admit that her message in this video is really honest and raw. Her message is something children and adults-alike need to hear and see it in their own lives. I don’t know about you, but I love motivational videos like this because it totally sets me on FIRE!
