Anyway, I’m completely floored that this is the final Transformation Thursday post for SSD this year. I will say that these posts will continue into 2018 as I have received some feedback that the content I share on these posts are helpful. Yay!
Without further ado, check out my finds for the month of December!
Article – Social Media (3 Minute Read)
I discovered Maria when I was reading this article she wrote about loop giveaways. Personally, I’ve never been a fan of loop giveaways. I feel like it’s been done so many times by the same bloggers I follow that I got annoyed. Who knows? Maybe I’ll change my mind in the future, but for now. I’m against loop giveaways.
However, if you’re thinking of doing loop giveaways, I think Maria does a great job talking about her experiences and the pros and cons!
Book (Short read)
Featuring this one again because you can’t miss this! If you’ve been with SSD this year, you know that I’m a huge fan of Lewis‘s. When Lewis dropped his book, I broke my “no buying new books” rule and grabbed myself a copy. After reading this book, I felt more equipped because I understood a little more on how to speak to the opposite sex by understanding the mask(s) one wears.
If you want to be a better communicator, I highly, highly, highly recommend this book! It’s geared towards the guys, but it’s very helpful to the ladies too!
Social Squares is fantastic resource for bloggers who want beautiful stock images, but don’t have the gift or time to take pictures themselves. Hey, I’m being truthful here. My own images take about a good 20 shots minimum in order to find one good picture to use/post!
Shay Cochrane, founder of SC Stockshop, created this awesome resource and let me tell you, she makes it easy-peasy. Her images are beautiful and affordable! I mean, does $6/image for royalty-free usage a good deal or what? Yeahhh…that’s what I thought!
Word Swag – I loveee this app! I’ve been using it for a few years now and I love how clean, crisp and professional my photos are. The Word Swag team offers a lot of different kinds of fonts and images (all you have to do is type in what image you’re looking for). This app has been a lifesaver when I don’t have time to shoot a picture for a blog post and need a free image to use quickly.
That’s all for this month’s Transformation Thursday series! Happy Friday Eve!
If you’ve used any of these resources, let me know what you think!

If you’re new here, Transformation Thursday is a series of monthly edit of resources I share. You can listen to, use, read or watch what I’ve found/used to improve various parts of your life. It is my hope that at least one resource in each post adds value to your life!
