If you’re curious when the next Sephora sale is, let me tell you…as quickly as November came, the Sephora Holiday Sale is already here! If you’ve been around She Sweats Diamonds awhile, you know I don’t create a lot of content regarding sales. However, when it does come to sales, I will almost always cover my favorite beauty retailer: Sephora.
For years, Sephora has been my go-to when it comes to my beauty needs. Should I need to pick up another liquid eyeliner pen before I head to the airport (true story), I stop by one of their locations and grab one. If I want to try new skincare products, they offer me samples. And if I have any questions, it seems like their associates always know the answers.
Honestly, what’s not to love about Sephora?
It’s my playground and I’m not afraid to get messy. Now that fall is in full swing here in Dallas, I wanted to give you the scoop on the Sephora sale and share beauty updates with you. I’ve been using some products for several months so I figured it’s about time to post mini beauty product reviews for you guys!

As always, for this article, everything is split into categories so you can find what you need fast and check out.
BEAUTYBIO Rose Quartz Facial Roller – I just got this facial roller and from first impressions, the quality is really great! It has a good weight and the rose quartz is very cool to the touch. I finally pulled the trigger on this facial tool as Jamie OBanion, the founder, said their rose quartz is sustainably-sourced. Yay!
MURAD City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA++++ – I heard so much about this sunscreen that I decided to purchase it before I run out of my Tatcha sunscreen. However, I’m not impressed with is the size for the price. Aside from sun protection, I’ve learned that it protects your skin from blue light and free radicals like air pollution which makes this city girl happy! You know what makes me happier? Murad is committed to the environment!
MARIO BADESCU Drying Lotion – My most affordable secret weapon for zits that pop up unexpectedly. By the way, Mario Badedscu is a cruelty-free brand!
THE ORDINARY AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution – An absolutely affordable peel that works so well! I’m so impressed with this product! It stung and tingled more than I expected, but it leaves your face feeling baby soft. For under $10, the texture on my face has improved so much. Bonus? It’s a cruelty-free product too!
THE ORDINARY 100% Plant-Derived Squalane – I just got this in the mail last week and I must say I’m impressed with this product as well. I’m near the end of my Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Antioxidant Face Oil and wanted to try something new. So far so good!
TOO FACED Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer – If I could pick another concealer aside from Nars Creamy Concealer to do the job, this one would be it! For the same price, you get more product and it’s cruelty-free!
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed Highlighter – A beauty product that adds the perfect amount of shine to my cheek bones, bridge of my nose, and anywhere else I need to get that glow. One compact lasts such a long while too!
CHARLOTTE TILBURY Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder – I’ve heard so much about this product and how amazing it is! However, I’m not sure about pressed powder considering I’m used to loose. Let me know your opinions below if you’ve already tried this powder!
ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Perfect Brow Pencil – The eyebrow pencil of my dreams! I’ve been using this pencil for what feels like my entire adult life. I chose this particular brow pencil because it’s more sustainable than their brow wiz as that is made of plastic.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY Legendary Brows Eyebrow Gel – The brush that comes with this eyebrow gel is amazing! It’s small so the precision is accurate!
SEPHORA COLLECTION Colorful Wink-It Felt Liner Waterproof – If you’ve been around SSD, you know this is my go-to eyeliner. If I could pick one product from the Sephora Collection to recommend forever, this one would be it.
TWEEZERMAN Stainless Steel Slant Tweezer – There’s a reason this tweezer is $23. The fact that it grabs the tiniest hairs makes it all worth it.
URBAN DECAY Naked Heat Palette – If I could pick one eyeshadow palette for fall and winter, this one would be it. It has the perfect amount of mattes and shimmers. I’m a neutrals and matte girl through and through so this palette definitely fits the bill!
TOO FACED Melted Matte Long Wear Liquid Lipstick – My go-to shade year round. This is probably my favorite liquid lipstick I’ve ever used too! It’s not drying and stays put after I eat and drink throughout the day. If I need a touch up, it’s right before the end of my day is over. How’s that for staying power? I wear the shade Sell Out all-year long and mix it with Cool Girl for fall.
PATRICK TA Major Glow Lip Shine – Who says lipgloss is only for the summer? With the holidays coming up, add some sparkle to your lips with one of my favorite Patrick Ta products. The color pairs beautifully with Too Faced Liquid Lipstick in Sell Out. And if you’re wondering, no the formula isn’t sticky at all! I have it in shade: She’s An Influencer.
DIOR Lip Glow – I have it in Pink Glow and love the formula. If you’re looking for a touch of color, it really does give a sheer light pink finish. Perfect for the gym!
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask – I cannot and will not go to bed with dry lips so I’m always wearing some kind of a lip treatment. I’m constantly rotating between Carmex and this lip mask.
FARMACY Honey Butter Beeswax Lip Balm – Speaking of lip treatment, I want to try this one by Farmacy. Since I already love their Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm and Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser.
Playa Ritual Hair Oil – Aside from Davines products, Playa is one of three hair products I have in my bathroom. The scent is so amazing and a little goes a long way even with long hair.
AQUIS Lisse Luxe Long Hair Towel – I have their regular Lisse Luxe hair towel and love it! It dries my thick hair quickly. Additionally, I’ve noticed how the frizziness has been reduced. However, it’s too short for my long hair so I’m going to try this length and see how it goes.
GHD Glide Professional Performance Hot Brush – An absolute game-changer when it comes to hair tools! I’ve only used it a few times and love it so far. However, to me, it’s a bit pricey. Yet at the same time, from my first impressions, I knew I had purchased a high-quality tool.
RAHUA Voluminous Dry Shampoo – I have mixed feeling about this dry shampoo. Moving away from aerosol dry shampoo, I chose to try this squeeze bottle. I like that there’s no scent. However, I feel like it dries out my hair as much as it absorbs oil so I really don’t know how I feel about it yet.
GHD Platinum+ Professional Performance 1″ Styler – I have a Rusk straightener that my sister-in-law gave me and I love it. One day, when that one bites the dust, this will be the next straightener I purchase. I know I have the hot brush, but I love that this straightener can curl your hair too.
And that’s it for my top picks of the 2019 Sephora holiday sale!
There’s a reason why I shop at Sephora for all my beauty needs. Not only does Sephora offer my absolute favorite beauty brands, but I find so many things I love about them. First, their sales associates are so incredibly knowledgeable. Second, they offer clean beauty products and samples of anything you want to try. Lastly, they’re committed to people by offering programs like Classes for Confidence and sustainability for our planet.
