I’m not one to celebrate Valentine’s Day because I think you should express love every day. To be honest, the holiday is a bit too cheesy for my taste and maybe that’ll change when I have someone special someday, haha! Anyway, I will say that if I’m going to celebrate the holiday, I’m going to be celebrating it with my girlfriends. Yep, I’d prefer to spend time with my girlfriends watching movies and pampering ourselves. For love day, I thought I’d share some Galentine gift ideas for those amazing women in your life! I wanted to cover gift ideas for those different kinds of gals so here we go!
Beauty-lover
For Galentine gift ideas, the obvious gifts are for the woman who’s obsessed with beauty products. You can never go wrong with a nail polish set. She can pick from nudes or blushes depending on what mood she’s in. I have this face mask and have used it for the past several years. It really does leave your skin feeling super clean and so soft! Pop in a movie and put this face mask on. Your girlfriends will be thanking you! This pink lipstick is my go-to for when you want some color, but not too much. It’s perfect for a barely there look she can wear to the office or out for drinks. I saw some mixed reviews with this cheek palette. I haven’t tried it myself yet, but these colors look great if you’re looking to add some warmth to the face.
Homebody
I hate to admit this, but as much as I love to travel, I’m such a homebody. If your girlfriend is like me, these velvet shorts are under $40 and would be a perfect gift for lounging around. If she’s a homebody, the chances of her lighting candles are pretty high. I don’t own this candle, but I do own the perfume in the same scent (peony and blush suede). Let me tell you, it’s heavenly so I can only imagine what the candle smells like!
Active
If you have a girlfriend who likes to stay active, this cute water bottle is great for her to take to her workout classes. She can also freshen up with this rose face mist after class or if she travels a lot, this would be perfect right before she gets off the plane. A leather card case is great for your bestie if she’s constantly on-the-go. She can fit her ID a few credit cards and some cash and she’s ready to go! Most importantly, I think this smart bracelet from WiseWear is a great investment gift for your bff, mom or sister.
I first learned about this brand through a giveaway my friend, Kim over at Color & Chic! This water-resistent bracelet comes in three different styles, but what you may not know is that it’s actually a safety device! It serves as a panic button, fitness tracker, keeps you connected to your phone and tracks your activity. Genius I must say! I hope my picks have helped if you’re looking for gifts for those amazing women in your life! I tried to pick high quality and thoughtful items with various price ranges. If you plan on spending Valentine’s with your girlfriends, sisters or mom, what are your plans? I’m doing a casual dinner at home with a movie or two!
